MBA, Tinder, and Home

Hi, friends!
Quite a few things happened last week. I finally got vaccinated (1st dose), got accepted to IIMA’s PGP program, and signed up for Tinder (yes!). Yes, I’m Going to IIM Ahmedabad.
I went to my village to visit my grandma after a long time. It was a great experience. I visited my primary school, met relatives, and caught up with the village gossips. Village folks are the friendliest of people. The hospitality I was shown is unparalleled.
Even though the whole affair was very chaotic, I finally got vaccinated. The management was uncoordinated and horrible overall. But, hey, what else can one expect? I did not experience any severe side effects. I’ll write an essay on the whole experience sometime soon.
On the Tinder front, nothing much is going on but hey you never know when you’ll have a great day. Most people are nice, and hopefully I’ll meet nice people too. So, you better hope that I find something meaningful there. I’m not sure if I’ll have to time to do anything else, once my classes start but we’ll see.
After the fever subsided post-vaccination, I went out for a bicycle ride this evening. That is also an excuse to go out and take some photos. I had a great evening after a long time. If you wish to see those photos (mostly greenery these days), you should follow me on Instagram. My username is @reangdeba_.
Also, I’m thinking of starting tuition for high school students. What do you think? Should I do it for free or charge them a fee for it? Let me know.
I hope you have a great weekend. And even better week. All the best! Take care, stay safe, and get vaccinated as soon as you can.

Academia hates poor people, and I mean this literally. Every step of academia is trying to keep poor people from the academy. That anyone who grew up poor or working class is in academia is out of spite & against all odds.
