New Friends and Deep Thoughts

Hey, friends!
I hope things are going well for you. Last week was just another uneventful week. I spent most of my time indoors (rightly so!), but I managed to cycle a few kilometers over the week.
A junior reached out to me for advice, and I gave a solid monologue for quite some time. It is nice to be able to help anyone now and then. Considering that I went through similar experiences myself, it is quite a humbling experience to help others.
I am also in the process of writing a director’s cut version of my As We Leave essay. So, stay tuned for that. Essentially, the plan is to write twice the length of the essay that was published by Vox Populi, IIT Kanpur. The original essay is here if you’re interested.
I met some amazing people online last week. One of them traveled to 21 countries, which is amazing! I plan to travel to many countries myself soon. I’m just so excited to meet new people in IIM Bangalore. On that note, I should tell you that I’m pretty excited about meeting this girl tonight (virtually, of course).
Starting this issue, I’ll pose one question that is on my mind every week. So, here’s my question for this week - Do you think your opinion online matters in the grand scheme of things, or is it just adding to the noise that is already there? Please <reply> to this email, and let me know what you think.
See you soon. Take care. And please get vaccinated at your turn.
