Hi!
It’s been a long time since the last issue. A lot has happened in that time, and so this issue might seem a little out of sync—apologies in advance for that.
I just got back from the hospital after a four-day trip because of dengue. For some reason, dengue fever is widespread on the IIM Ahmedabad campus. It is very unfortunate, but I am recovering, and my vitals are all normal now.
These days I stay busy with my academics and am left with little free time. I do manage to play badminton whenever time and energy permits. It is, in my opinion, one of the best decisions I’ve made recently.
I manage to get some readings in now and then. It helps me stay sane through this incredibly confusing time. I’ll probably write an essay on my MBA experience so far, so stay tuned for that.
I would keep this issue a short one, but I’ll try my best to send a new issue every week from now. I know I’ve said this before as well, but hey, I’m trying.
Please stay safe, take care, and see you very soon in the next one.

Quotes
Because a mixed person embodies that rebuke to the logic of the system, race-mixing becomes a crime worse than treason. - Trevor Noah, Born A Crime
Sometimes all that’s needed to lift women up is to stop pulling them down. - Melinda Gates, The Moment of Lift

Profit comes as a result of being good at what we do. Trust comes as a result of being good at why we do it.
Ankur Warikoo
People tend to feel more burdened by how the world sees their relationship with their parents, than they are with the actual relationship.

It is ok to not have a cordial relationship with your parents.
It is ok to want to step away, to save the relationship.
